Palisade Strategies and the Palisade-Heritage Joint Venture History
Palisade Strategies, LLC was founded in 2012 by US Army veteran, Samuel Brown. Sam graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, became an Infantry Officer, and suffered career ending wounds in Afghanistan. Palisade Strategies is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and is registered in the Vendor Information Pages maintained by the Veteran Affairs Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization. The company was named after the “Palisade” mountains that surround West Point, NY.
Palisade started servicing the Veterans Administration’s First and Emergent Pharmacy Program and Disaster Response Plan in 2019. Palisade joined with Heritage Health Solutions, who had over a decade of experience with this VA program, to create the Palisade-Heritage Joint Venture (JV). Combined, Palisade and the JV is now the largest provider of the program to the VA.
In 2022, US Army veteran and United States Military Academy at West Point graduate, Paul Worsfold bought Palisades and the Palisade-Heritage Joint Venture.
In April 2022, Palisade-Heritage Joint Venture started servicing the Camp Lejeune Family Member Program (CLFMP) which services those eligible family members stationed at Camp Lejeune from 1957 to 1987.
Over the years, Palisade and the Palisade-Heritage JV has grown its extensive pharmacy network to more than 68,000 pharmacies with several choices conveniently located near all Veteran Affairs Medical facilities.
The Disaster Response Plan has supported 100 VAMCs through various natural disasters such as hurricanes, flooding, and wildfires. It has continued to provide services throughout the COVID pandemic. This program allows for a 14- or 30-day supply of prescribed medications and covers all drugs on the VA National Formulary.
Palisade and the Palisade-Heritage JV continue triple digit growth as they demonstrate best in class service to our country’s veterans and those members of the CLFMP.
